Kurt joined Zenith Tecnica in 2018, first as a master’s student then full-time engineer. Becoming part of the engineering team with a specific focus on process validation and continuous improvement. He now takes on the role of Production Lead, ensuring quality components are manufactured and delivered on time.

Kurt holds a Master of Engineering degree from AUT University and is one of the few people in Australasia to have been trained by GE Additive in their EBM Material Development level 3 program. Additionally, Kurt specialises in additive manufactured surfaces and failure mechanics, having conducted research on the surface morphology of EBM manufactured parts.

Prior to joining the team at Zenith Tecnica Kurt worked in a variety of roles from developing mobile applications to designing and selling large hydraulic systems.
Outside of work Kurt enjoys rock climbing, surfing, running, and writing music.
